 FOUNDATION CREATIONLou Gallipeau and Andy Harris first met on a golf trip to Thailand in November 2002. Their shared experiences on that trip led them to decide to do something to help the poor and disadvantaged Thai youth. The outcome is the Gallipeau Harris Foundation, founded in February, 2003 and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth of Virginia (US) in August of the same year. The Foundation was classified as a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization by the IRS in January 2004.  The purpose of the Foundation is to provide educational opportunities and resources for poor, underprivileged children in Thailand. The Foundation strives to be a recognized leader in empowering and helping the youth of Thailand achieve their dreams through education and learning.
