THE GALLIPEAU HARRIS FOUNDATION AWARDED GRANT FROM TARGET SOURCING SERVICES
Target Sourcing Services (TSS/AMC), a division of Target Corporation, presented The Gallipeau Harris Foundation with a grant for $25,000.00 on November 21, 2005. This is by far the largest award made to date to The Gallipeau Harris Foundation. The presentation ceremony was held at the TSS/AMC office in Bangkok, Thailand.
Target Corporation gives over $2 million every week to communities throughout the US. In 2003 Target initiated their International Grant Program. Under this program TSS/AMC awards grants to organizations working with communities where their international offices are located. In 2005, $500,000 was awarded to organizations working in 19 countries worldwide.
The presentation of the award was made by Claire Park, Manager of the Bangkok office of TSS/AMC. Andy Harris and Amara Gumnerdgam accepted the grant on behalf of the Foundation.

While presenting the award, Ms Park commented, “We are extremely pleased to be able to continue to support the work of The Gallipeau Harris Foundation. They have done a great job over the past three years helping poor students in poor communities in Thailand.”
“This is a tremendous boost for us. We cannot thank TSS/AMC enough” remarked Andy Harris, President of The Gallipeau Harris Foundation. “Target has been with us every step of the way. With their support, and the support of our other donors, we are now helping hundreds of poor children in Thailand continue their education.”
Also present at the grant award ceremony were teachers and students from the schools supported by the Foundation and TSS/AMC team members at the Bangkok office. Many of the TSS/AMC team members are actively involved with GHF programs in Thailand and all provide their time voluntarily. In particular Thana Oranriksupuk, Saovanee Weeramaytangkoon, Pojamarn Triyapongpatana, Nalin Wanasuphoprasit and Claire Park were recognized by the Foundation for their significant contributions.
