GHF HOLDS MAJOR FUNDRAISERS
IN THAILAND
This August The Gallipeau Harris Foundation held three successful fundraising
events in Thailand.
The initial event took place in Bangkok, as GHF held its first annual fundraising
dinner and auction at Venezia Italian Restaurant. Over 30 people participated
in a fun filled evening and enjoyed the fine dining experience of Owner Vito,
Manager Edwin Roberts and hostesses from the Fashion Sense Modeling Agency.
The evening was a great success, with over 40,000THB (about $1200.00) raised
for GHF.

Two golf events were held, one in Bangkok and the other in Lampang, Northern
Thailand where GHF supports three schools. The Bangkok event, hosted by GHF
in partnership with Target Corporation took place at Muang Kaew Golf Club,
a fantastic course on the outskirts of Bangkok. Participants enjoyed wonderful
playing conditions and great weather. A post round dinner included an auction
of a professional golf bag donated by Brent O’Bell of Hua Hin, Thailand. Overall
the event raised more than $4500.00.

Lampang hosted the largest event. More than 280 golfers enjoyed a fantastic
event hosted by The EGAT Golf Club. Numerous dignitaries took part including
The Vice Governor and Mayor of Lampang and a number of government representatives.
After the golf an auction and raffle helped raise additional funds for charities
in N. Thailand with a portion of the proceeds going to GHF.
